Berlin:President Asif Ali Zardari was accorded a warm reception at the German Ministry of Defense in Berlin today. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and was presented a guard of honour.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari is on an official visit to Germany at the invitation of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Leading a high-level delegation during the visit, the President is scheduled to meet with President Steinmeier and senior German government officials.

During the meetings, discussions will focus on bilateral relations, regional and international issues, and the enhancement of economic and trade cooperation. President Zardari's visit is expected to give a new dimension to bilateral relations and promote mutual cooperation across various sectors.

This historic visit holds immense significance as it marks the first visit by any Pakistani Head of State to Germany in twenty-three years. The visit coincides with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
