President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have strongly denounced the terrorist incident in Bannu Cantonment.In their separate statements, they reaffirmed government's firm resolve to eliminate menace of terrorism from the country.President also paid homage to the martyred soldiers for thwarting the attacks and said the entire nation is proud of the brave soldiers' sacrifice.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his statement expressed his admiration for the security forces for effectively thwarting a major attack on Bannu Cantonment.He reiterated the nation's steadfast backing of the security forces in their ongoing fight against terrorism.The Prime Minister expressed heartfelt sympathy and sorrow for the families who lost loved ones.Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on the Rural Health Centre in the Kirri Shamozai area of District Dera Ismail Khan.Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement today, expressed grief over the ma rtyrdom of five innocent civilians, as well as two security officials.Shehbaz Sharif said backers of coward terrorist elements, involved in attacking innocent children and women, will be brought to justice.He said such cowardly acts cannot lower the resolve of the Pakistani nation.Source: Radio Pakistan
