President, PM Felicitate Pakistan Navy for Successful North Arabian Sea Exercise

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari have congratulated the leadership, officers, and personnel of the Pakistan Navy on the successful and comprehensive exercise conducted in the North Arabian Sea.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President expressed satisfaction over the effective performance of the Pakistan Navy's modern air defense, surface-to-air strike, and automated systems. He highlighted the successful open-sea trials of the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) as a significant advancement for the defense of the country's maritime boundaries.

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the professional competence and operational readiness of the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Navy. He emphasized the importance of these successful trials for strengthening the nation's maritime security.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, commended the leadership of Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, under whom the Pakistan Navy has demonstrated modern capabilities and outstanding professional performance. He noted that the successful trial of the unmanned surface vessel (USV) in the open sea marks a significant milestone in the defense of the country's maritime borders.
