Islamabad: The President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, accompanied by Vice President (Research and Enterprise) Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, paid a comprehensive visit to the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) and the Science, Technology, and Business Space (STBS) at the university's New Campus. Upon arrival, the President was received by Muhammad Ahsen Mirza, Director BIC and STBS, who briefed the delegation on the centres' performance, ongoing initiatives, and key achievements.According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the President expressed appreciation for the role of these spaces in fostering innovation, promoting entrepreneurship, and supporting student-led startups. During the tour, the President visited several startup offices and interacted with young entrepreneurs, showing interest in their ideas and challenges. He reaffirmed IIUI's commitment to supporting entrepreneurial ventures and innovation.A particularly memorable moment occurred during a visit to a summer class conducted by the startup 'Wisknowledge.' The President engaged with the children, shared personal stories from his own childhood, and distributed chocolates, creating a joyful experience for the young learners.Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed remarked, 'Our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives and entrepreneurs receive the support they need to succeed. Engaging directly with our innovators, startups, and even the youngest learners ensures that IIUI remains connected to the community's evolving needs.'
