Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of the mother of Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement today, President Zardari extended heartfelt condolences to Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.

The President prayed for the elevation of ranks of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with patience. He said the entire nation stands with the grieving family in this difficult time.
