Islamabad: Banking Mohtasib Sirajuddin Aziz met with President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad today to present the organization’s 2024 report. The meeting focused on the achievements and challenges faced by the Banking Mohtasib’s office over the past year.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Banking Mohtasib reported that relief totaling 1.65 billion rupees was provided to banking consumers throughout the last year. This significant figure highlights the proactive measures taken to address consumer grievances effectively.
Additionally, the Banking Mohtasib successfully resolved over twenty thousand queries against commercial banks in 2024. This achievement underscores the organization’s commitment to ensuring fair practices and customer satisfaction within the banking sector.
President Asif Ali Zardari assured Banking Mohtasib Sirajuddin Aziz of his support and cooperation in ensuring the timely redressal of public complaints.
