President and Prime Minister Honor Captain Sarwar Shaheed on Martyrdom Anniversary

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed, the first recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider, on his seventy-seventh martyrdom anniversary. In their separate messages, they highlighted the nation's pride in Captain Sarwar's courage, perseverance, and sacrifice.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized that the sacrifices made by martyrs like Captain Sarwar are the cornerstone of the country's defense and national stability. He remarked that Pakistan's safety today is a result of the sacrifices made by its heroes.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif referred to Captain Sarwar as a brave son of the soil who sacrificed his life to thwart the enemy's aggressive occupation plans in Jammu and Kashmir. The Prime Minister noted that Captain Sarwar's bravery set an example for the soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces, who continue to prioritize the defense of the motherland over their own lives. He expressed that the entire nation honors Captain Sarwar's courage and bravery on his martyrdom anniversary.
