PML-N Anticipates Two-Thirds Majority in Upcoming AJK Elections: Muqam

Islamabad: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam has expressed strong confidence that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will secure a two-thirds majority in the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) general elections. He shared these remarks while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad held today to welcome new party members from AJK's Sehnsa constituency.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the influx of members from the Sehnsa constituency as a testament to the public's trust in PML-N's past performance and its vision for the future. He emphasized key welfare measures taken by the PML-N government for the region, which include a subsidy on wheat, affordable electricity rates, and the establishment of Daanish schools. Additionally, he mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif allocated ten billion rupees for the construction of the Haryam bridge.
