PMD Forecasts Widespread Rain in Balochistan, KP, and South Punjab

Karachi: Widespread rain-windstorm and thunderstorm are expected in northeastern Balochistan, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and south Punjab during the next twelve hours.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meteorological department has issued a weather forecast indicating the likelihood of significant rainfall accompanied by windstorms and thunderstorms in these regions. The forecast highlights potential weather disruptions in the coming hours that may impact daily activities.

This morning, temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad and Quetta at eleven degrees centigrade, Lahore at eighteen, Karachi at twenty-three, Peshawar at fifteen, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad at nine, and Murree at five degrees centigrade.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts partly cloudy conditions with potential rain, wind, and thunderstorms in areas including Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Temperatures recorded this morning were Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at ten degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-one, Leh at zero, and Pulwama and Baramula at nine degrees centigrade.
