Lahore:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has underscored the importance of bolstering export-oriented industries as a means to enhance economic growth and stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted this during a meeting with Ali Hussam Asghar, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Lahore.

The discussion focused on the overall economic situation, the promotion of business and trade, the challenges faced by industries, and the provision of facilities to the business community. The Prime Minister emphasized the government's collaboration with the private sector to foster economic activities and create a favorable business environment.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif established a committee tasked with reviewing proposals aimed at increasing production and employment opportunities.
