Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says a comprehensive plan will be launched soon for promotion of football in the country.He was talking to Pakistan Street Child Football team in Islamabad today. The team has won silver medal in International Street Child Football tournament recently held in Norway.The Prime Minister appreciated the football team for winning laurels for the country at the international event.Assuring the players of government's full support, he said the players' excellent performance testifies the fact that if our youth are given opportunities, they can prove their mettle internationally.On the occasion, the Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to take immediate measures for restoration of departmental sports and submit report in this regard.Source: Radio Pakistan
