Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country. Chairing a meeting of the Federal Cabinet in Islamabad today, he emphasized that the blood of martyrs has drawn a line in the fight for Pakistan, one that cannot be erased.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the collective efforts of federal and provincial governments, parliamentarians, civil servants, and the Pakistan Armed Forces, all working tirelessly towards this goal. He stressed that these efforts would be in vain if terrorism is not completely eradicated and its head crushed, declaring that enough is enough.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that the time has come for decisive action, referring to the martyrs as the crown jewels of Pakistan’s honor and dignity. He urged that their sacrifices must always be remembered, as forgetting them would be a significant injustice to the region, the country, and their families.
The Prime Minister further condemned those who facilitate terrorists, providing them with shelter and support, labeling them as equally guilty. He underscored the contrast between these facilitators and the martyrs who defend Pakistan’s soil with their blood day and night.
