PM hosts reception in honour of Azerbaijan President

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hosted a formal reception in honour of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in Islamabad this evening.

On his arrival at the Prime Minister House, Shehbaz Sharif received the Azerbaijan President.

National anthems of both the countries were played on the occasion.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Armed Forces of Pakistan presented a guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.

Azerbaijan President lham Aliyev received a wonderful and warm reception in Pakistan.

The aircraft of the President of Azerbaijan was escorted by the fighter jets of the Pakistan Air Force to Islamabad as soon as it entered the Pakistan airspace.

President lham Aliyev is on a two-day visit to Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
