Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated and extended good wishes to Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate in the Punjab Assembly, Hafiz Abdul Karim, on his success in the Senate elections.

According to Radio Pakistan, in his message of felicitation, the Prime Minister expressed hope that Senator Hafiz Abdul Karim will play an active role in the Senate for the supremacy of the constitution and the development of the country.

The Prime Minister remarked that the Senate elections are a continuation of the democratic process. He emphasized the importance of the role of senators in strengthening federating units and upholding democratic values.
