Islamabad:Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended congratulations to the Pakistan Navy and its leadership following the successful live weapon firing test conducted by the newly inducted submarine, PNS/M HANGOR.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the achievement of accurately engaging a long-range target with an anti-ship cruise missile. This, he noted, demonstrates the exceptional operational readiness and professional expertise of the Pakistan Navy's submarine force.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Sharif reiterated the government's commitment to maintaining the armed forces' preparedness to address any national security challenges. He also praised the professional performance of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf and the personnel involved in the induction and operationalization of PNS/M HANGOR.
