PILER delegation calls on Sindh CM in Karachi

A 29-member delegation of Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research led by Executive Director Karamat Ali called on Chief Minister Sindh Maqbool Baqar in Karachi today.

The delegation apprised the chief minister about welfare work being carried out by the department.

The delegation demanded to raise minimum wage to 32,000 rupees announced by the provincial government.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister advised Labour Secretary to ensure the implementation of the minimum wage of 32,000 rupees.

Maqbool Baqar also directed to prepare a concept paper for family welfare and to end child labour in the province.
