The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an alert about rains and thunderstorms in upper parts of the province from Tuesday till Saturday.The Authority also advised all the relevant departments to stay alert for restoring road links for traffic in concerned districts.It also informed the public to keep away from under construction buildings, advertisement hoardings and electric poles during the forecast period.The control room of PDMA is operational round the clock and people can contact by dialing 1700 in case of any emergency.Source: Radio Pakistan
