Canberra: The newly appointed Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Australia, Irfan Shaukat, has expressed his resolve to provide efficient, transparent, and accessible services to Pakistani expatriates living in Australia. He shared his commitment after presenting his credentials to the Governor General of Australia, Sam Moston, in Canberra, Australia.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistani ambassador emphasized efforts to further strengthen Pak-Australia relations across political, economic, educational, and scientific fields. He praised the hard work and contributions of Pakistani expatriates, highlighting their role in earning respect and recognition for Pakistan in Australia and the Pacific nations.
In a letter to the Pakistani community in Australia and the Pacific regions, Irfan Shaukat, who also holds concurrent accreditation to Fiji, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu, described the community as a living bridge, reflecting the true spirit and values of their homeland. He expressed eagerness to collaborate with the Pakistani community to enhance these connections and explore new avenues of cooperation in areas of shared interest.
Shaukat reiterated the commitment of the High Commission and the Consulates General to deliver efficient, transparent, and accessible services to the Pakistani diaspora. He encouraged expatriates to continue engaging actively with the Mission, share their valuable feedback, and participate in collective efforts to promote Pakistan’s rich culture, heritage, and national interests.
