Pakistan’s Economic Indicators Show Positive Trends in July

Islamabad: Pakistan's economic indicators remained positive in the month of July this year.

According to Radio Pakistan, remittances from overseas Pakistanis rose to 3.63 billion dollars and the State Bank's foreign exchange reserves reached 17.08 billion dollars.

In July, the current account deficit fell by thirty-eight percent compared with the previous year, to 328 million dollars. The rupee remained relatively stable during this period, maintaining a modest improvement against the US dollar.

Amid improved fiscal discipline, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected 810 billion rupees in taxes in July, exceeding the monthly target.
