Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has emphasized that Pakistan's all-weather strategic partnership with China is built on a foundation of trust and strategic alignment.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a recent post on his X handle, Ishaq Dar expressed Pakistan's appreciation for President Xi Jinping's initiatives aimed at fostering global development and peace. The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the significant role of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as a key Eurasian platform. He noted that the SCO is instrumental in advancing cooperation in various sectors, including security, trade, energy, connectivity, and culture, all underpinned by principles of mutual trust and shared development.

Further, Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan is looking forward to engaging in constructive high-level dialogues with the Chinese leadership and the heads of other member states of the SCO, reinforcing the strategic partnerships and shared goals within the organization.
