Islamabad: Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry announced that Pakistan has implemented effective measures to counter the presence of Khawarij in Afghanistan. He shared these insights during an interactive session with students at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Swabi.
According to Radio Pakistan, the session also covered topics such as the recent Pak-Afghan border clash, the current security situation, and the role of social media. The Director General emphasized that the Pakistan Army remains unwavering in its commitment to standing against aggression from any adversary in the future.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry highlighted the importance of youth, describing them as the guarantors of the nation’s bright future and emphasizing their critical role in the country’s progress and prosperity. The session concluded with students and teachers paying tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Armed Forces, acknowledging the army’s significant contribution to peace and national development.
The participants expressed that such meaningful sessions should continue in the future to effectively counter disinformation and propaganda.
