Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Russia Engage in Talks Over Regional Developments

Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a bilateral meeting with Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath during the 32nd ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial Meeting. The discussions highlighted the strong relationship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, focusing on various aspects including high-level exchanges, economic ties, religious tourism, and educational collaboration. Both leaders addressed a range of regional and global issues, particularly recent developments in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar also met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the forum. The two officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and agreed to reconvene next week during the SCO Council of Ministers meeting. This series of meetings underscores the ongoing diplomatic efforts to address key regional issues and enhance international cooperation.
