Pakistan Secures Double Gold at Japan Junior Open Squash Championship

Islamabad: Pakistan won two gold medals at the 37th Japan Junior Open Squash Championship in Yokohama.

According to Radio Pakistan, Yahya Khan emerged victorious in the Under-17 category by defeating Japan's Toma Ikeda in a thrilling final match. Meanwhile, Abu Bakar clinched the Under-11 gold medal after overcoming China's Xia Huan Chen in the final.

In another squash event, Pakistan's Sana Bahadur triumphed at the PCA Independence Squash Cup in Sydney, Australia. She secured the Women's Open title by defeating her fellow compatriot Noor-ul-Huda, who unfortunately had to retire during the second game due to an ankle injury. Sana's victory in Sydney follows her recent success at the Challenger Bendigo Open Squash title in Melbourne, marking consecutive international wins for the Pakistani player.
