Islamabad: Pakistan Gold won the National Champions Cup 2026-27 beating Pakistan Greens by 101 runs in the final at Multan last night. Batting first, Pakistan Gold scored 340 runs in allotted 50 overs.
According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Gold's Shamyl Hussain and Saad Khan both registered centuries, setting a strong foundation for the team's impressive total. In reply, Pakistan Greens were bowled out for 239 runs in 37.3 overs.
Shaheen Shah Afridi delivered a remarkable performance and was named Player of the Match. He secured 7 wickets for 36 runs in 8.3 overs, including a hat-trick, which played a pivotal role in dismantling the Pakistan Greens' batting lineup.
