Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed concerns over the Indian support to terror groups. At her weekly news briefing in Islamabad today, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that it is an established fact that terror groups receive support from India. She recalled the arrest of an Indian Naval Officer a few years back, who was identified as the mastermind behind espionage and terror activities in Balochistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the spokesperson urged Afghan authorities to take definitive action against these terror groups and not allow their soil to be used against Pakistan or any other neighboring country. She emphasized that Afghanistan should take Pakistan’s repeated requests seriously and not test the patience of the Pakistani people.

Responding to a question, the spokesperson revealed that Pakistan will continue to collaborate with China for the safety and security of Chinese nationals, projects, and institutions within the country. She highlighted that Pakistan and China mainta
in a robust dialogue and cooperation on various issues, including counterterrorism and the security of Chinese nationals. This dialogue, she noted, is based on mutual respect, mutually beneficial cooperation, and respect for each other’s sovereignty. As iron brothers and strategic partners, both countries are committed to foiling any attempts aimed at harming their relationship. She asserted that efforts to derail the China-Pakistan strategic partnership will not be allowed.

When asked about Pakistan’s relationship with the United States, the spokesperson commented that both countries share a long history of good friendly relations. She stated that it is in the mutual interest of both nations to build on this relationship, grounded in mutual respect, mutual interest, and non-interference in each other’s domestic affairs.
