Islamabad:Pakistan Army responded decisively to unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban along the Pak-Afghan border in the Angoor Adda area last Tuesday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistan Army successfully targeted and destroyed multiple posts and military positions of the Afghan Taliban in areas near South Waziristan and Parachinar.

The operation, which involved the use of heavy weaponry, forced Afghan Taliban personnel to abandon their posts and flee. Reports suggest that several Afghan Taliban regime members were killed during the precise and effective operation conducted by the Pakistan Army.

Security forces have reiterated their commitment to the defense of the country and the protection of its citizens, emphasizing that there will be no compromise on national security.
