Pakistan and UAE Commit to Strengthening Investment Ties at World Investment Conference


Sharjah: Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh held important meetings with senior leadership and investment officials of the United Arab Emirates on the sidelines of the World Investment Conference 2025 in Sharjah. During the meetings, both sides discussed ways to further strengthen investment and economic relations between Pakistan and the UAE, explore new avenues for foreign direct investment, and promote sustainable economic collaboration.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Federal Minister highlighted the recent reform initiatives of the Board of Investment and the Special Investment Facilitation Council. He expressed the government’s full support to the private sector, business community, and investors, emphasizing that Pakistan has emerged as an attractive destination for investment, offering a conducive environment and comprehensive facilitation for investors.



Earlier, representing Pakistan at the World Investment Conference 2025, the Federal Minister attended the General Assembly and Steering Committee Meeting of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies. In his address, Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh reaffirmed the commitment of the Board of Investment to advancing collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing among world investment promotion agencies worldwide.
