Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to Boost Economic Ties


Islamabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to further strengthen economic linkages for the shared prosperity of the two brotherly nations. The commitment was expressed during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and a high-level Saudi business delegation led by Chairman Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud in Islamabad today.



According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction at the growing momentum in bilateral economic relations and noted the tremendous scope for enhanced Pak-Saudi cooperation. Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s conducive investment climate and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to facilitating Saudi investments.



In his remarks, the Chairman of the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council appreciated the progress of the council, terming it among the most successful business councils globally.
