Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are collaborating to enhance their relationship through economic and investment cooperation. During discussions with Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Dawood in Islamabad, he expressed satisfaction with the progress on Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) regarding Saudi Arabia's $2.8 billion investment in Pakistan.According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the historic and fraternal relations between the two nations and expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their continuous support. He emphasized the importance of cooperation in defense and security, noting that the visit by the Deputy Interior Minister and his delegation would strengthen ties in these critical areas.The discussions also covered the situation in Gaza and the broader Middle East. Prime Minister Sharif commended Saudi Arabia's leadership in organizing the recent Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh and praised Crow n Prince Mohammed bin Salman's stance on the Palestine issue. He acknowledged the Crown Prince's efforts to unify the Muslim world in seeking an end to the violence in Gaza amid Israel's actions.Prime Minister Sharif reiterated his invitation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for an official visit to Pakistan, emphasizing that the people of Pakistan are eager to extend a warm welcome.
