Samarkand: Pakistan and Qatar have reached an agreement to enhance educational collaboration and promote innovative learning practices. This decision was finalized during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar, and Qatar’s Minister for Education, Lolwa bint Rashid Al-Khater. The meeting took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of UNESCO’s forty-third session.
According to Radio Pakistan, both ministers discussed initiatives aimed at promoting digital education and enhancing collaboration through joint research, training, and exchange programs. Wajiha Qamar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to fostering partnerships that support inclusive, technology-driven, and skill-oriented education.
Lolwa bint Rashid Al-Khater expressed Qatar’s readiness to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest, further solidifying the educational partnership between the two countries.
