Amman: Pakistan and Jordan have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen their bilateral ties through continued high-level engagement, as well as cooperation for regional peace and stability. This mutual commitment was expressed during a conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s role in receiving the Global Sumud Flotilla’s released detainees and facilitating their return home. He also extended gratitude to Jordan for assisting in the return of Pakistan’s former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan to Amman, who is scheduled to return to Pakistan tomorrow.
