Islamabad: Pakistan and Denmark have reached an agreement to focus on enhancing bilateral relations, increasing high-level contacts, and exploring new avenues of cooperation. This consensus was achieved during a meeting between Minister for SAFRON and Kashmir Affairs, Engineer Amir Muqam, and Denmark's Ambassador to Pakistan, Jakob Linulf, in Islamabad.According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two officials included Afghan refugee welfare and potential areas for enhancing cooperation between their countries. Engineer Amir Muqam highlighted the considerable potential for collaboration, suggesting that both nations could explore joint programs to improve education, healthcare, and vocational training for Afghan refugees.The Minister also emphasized the financial challenges Pakistan faces in hosting Afghan refugees and acknowledged the generous support of the international community. Ambassador Jakob Linulf expressed his appreciation for Pakistan's recent decision to extend the validity of ref ugee Proof of Registration cards, which facilitates the continued stay of Afghan refugees in the country.
