Pakistan and China Forge New Economic Collaboration

Beijing: In a significant development aimed at boosting economic ties, the Ministry of Planning, Pakistan, and China's Development Research Center have formalized an agreement to engage in joint research, training programs, and expert exchanges within the economic sector. This agreement was solidified during a strategic meeting held in Beijing on Sunday, attended by Pakistan's Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal and Lu Hao, President of China's Development Research Center and Center for International Knowledge on Development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Ahsan Iqbal emphasized Pakistan's eagerness to learn from China's economic successes and reform strategies. He highlighted that China's approach to scientific planning serves as an exemplary model for achieving long-term and sustainable economic growth. The minister also expressed Pakistan's intent to enhance trade relations and exports with China, underscoring the importance of mutual economic collaboration.

During the meeting, Lu Hao voiced his confidence in Pakistan's economic strategy, particularly its focus on developing an export-oriented economy. This collaboration is expected to pave the way for deeper economic integration and knowledge sharing between the two countries, fostering a robust economic partnership.
