Manama: Pakistan and Bahrain have emphasized the need to further strengthen their security collaboration. The consensus was reached during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Bahrain's General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in Manama.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism, combating human trafficking, and anti-narcotics efforts. Both parties discussed strategies to make the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Security Committee more effective in addressing these issues.
The Bahraini Interior Minister expressed appreciation for the existing cooperation and coordination between Pakistan and Bahrain in security and other fields. He emphasized the value Bahrain places on its security cooperation with Pakistan.
Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation in counter-narcotics and anti-human trafficking efforts, describing it as the need of the hour.
