Pakistan, Afghanistan Agree to Collaborate on Mutual Interests


Beijing: Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to work together to advance mutual interests, with a focus on trade, transit, connectivity, and security. This understanding was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Afghanistan’s Acting Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi in Beijing on Wednesday.



According to Radio Pakistan, the two sides recalled the Deputy Prime Minister’s recent visit to Kabul and welcomed the positive momentum in bilateral ties. They discussed enhanced diplomatic engagement, trade, and transit facilitation as key components of their cooperation.



The meeting signifies a step forward in strengthening the relationship between the two neighboring countries, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in areas that are crucial for regional stability and development.
