Pak Army Pledges Immediate Response to Any Indian Aggression

Rawalpindi: The Corps Commanders’ Conference has pledged to counter any Indian aggression with a swift and decisive response, shattering any perceived notion of India’s relative safety accruing from geography.

According to Radio Pakistan, the forum, which convened in Rawalpindi with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, at the helm, issued a stern warning that any imagined new normal will be met with a responsive new normal characterized by swift retribution. The conference voiced grave concerns over the recent irresponsible and provocative statements by Indian civil and military leaders, noting that such rhetoric aligns with India’s well-documented tendency to incite war hysteria for political gains.

Participants of the conference agreed that unwarranted warmongering is likely to escalate tensions and jeopardize regional peace and security. They expressed a firm resolve to undertake comprehensive counterterrorism operations across all domains to dismantle networks of Indian-sponsored terror proxies, including Fitna Al-Khawarij and Fitna Al-Hindustan.

The forum conducted a thorough review of ongoing counterterrorism operations, the emerging threat landscape, and operational readiness. It reaffirmed the Armed Forces’ readiness to thwart the inimical designs of Pakistan’s adversaries across all domains. The existing nexus between terror and crime, facilitated by vested political interests, which severely harms the interests of the State and the security of its people, will no longer be tolerated.

Furthermore, the participants acknowledged the significance of Pakistan’s recent high-level diplomatic engagements and reaffirmed their commitment to global and regional peace. The forum welcomed the landmark Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, aimed at fortifying strategic relations and enhancing multi-domain cooperation for a joint response to any external aggression. This agreement underscores shared values, mutual respect, and a joint vision for peace and security in the Middle Eastern and South Asian regions.

The forum reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination, as enshrined in relevant UN Security Council resolutions. It also reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, expressing hope for an early ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.

The conference reiterated Pakistan’s principled stance on the Palestine issue, advocating for a two-state solution with an independent Palestinian state, based on pre-1967 borders with Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital.

In his closing remarks, the Army Chief directed the Commanders to ensure the highest standards of operational readiness, discipline, physical fitness, innovation, and responsiveness. He expressed full confidence in the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Army to counter threats across the entire spectrum, from conventional and sub-conventional to hybrid and asymmetric threats.

Syed Asim Munir commended the spirit, resolve, and determination of the Pakistan Armed Forces in the war against foreign-sponsored terror proxies. He also lauded the armed forces for their resolve during extensive relief and rescue operations in the aftermath of recent floods, in conjunction with civil administration and other law enforcement agencies.

The forum offered Fateha for the martyrs of recent terrorist attacks orchestrated by Indian terror proxies.
