Lahore: Outgoing World Bank Country Director Najy Benhassine called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Friday. During the meeting, the provincial Chief Minister paid tribute to Najy Benhassine for his services in Pakistan since 2020.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also affirmed a commitment to further strengthen the partnership between the World Bank and the Punjab government. Speaking on this occasion, Maryam Nawaz highlighted that the Punjab government greatly values its strong, effective, and long-standing partnership with the World Bank.
