Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan has not faced any oil crisis despite ongoing regional tensions due to effective monitoring of oil consumption, adequate reserves, and an improved strategy. He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad to review the country's petroleum product reserves.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister directed authorities to continue constant monitoring of oil consumption to ensure stability in supply. He reaffirmed that the government would continue taking measures to provide maximum relief to the public.

In a briefing on the current oil reserves and future requirements, the meeting was informed that the country has sufficient stocks of petroleum products and emphasized the need to ensure prudent consumption to maintain reserves. The participants were further informed that necessary arrangements have already been made for the import of oil in view of future needs.
