Islamabad: National Disaster Management Authority has warned of low to moderate flooding in several parts of the country, with an increase in water flows in major rivers expected today.According to Radio Pakistan, low-level flooding is reported at Kalabagh, Chashma, Taunsa, and Guddu on the Indus River, while flows in the Ravi, Chenab, Jhelum, Kabul, and Sutlej rivers remain normal. The mountain drains of DG Khan and Rajanpur and Nala Lai in Rawalpindi are also flowing normally.In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is a risk of low to moderate flooding in the rivers and storm drains of Chitral, Upper Dir, Abbottabad, Shangla, Khyber, Orakzai, Kohat, Tank, North and South Waziristan.In Azad Kashmir, there is a risk of low to moderate flash flooding in Bagh and Kotli. In Balochistan, there is a risk of low to moderate flooding in Zhob, Musakhel, Kohlu, Barkhan, and Dera Bugti.And in Punjab, there is a risk of low to moderate flooding in the mountain storm drains of DG Khan and Rajanpur and in urban areas of Rawa lpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Okara, and Lahore.
