Lahore: On the special directives of Prime Minister, Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched an additional humanitarian aid consignment for the people of Palestine. This marks the latest effort in Pakistan's ongoing commitment to support Palestine during challenging times.
According to Radio Pakistan, the 28th relief consignment, comprising 100 tons of tents, has been sent with the support of Alkhidmat Foundation. This collaboration underscores the joint efforts of government and non-governmental organizations in providing essential relief to those in need.
The relief goods were dispatched through a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Al-arish, Egypt, for onward delivery to Gaza. This logistical plan ensures that the aid reaches its intended destination promptly and efficiently, facilitating immediate relief operations on the ground.
The total volume of humanitarian assistance sent to Palestine through twenty-eight consignments has reached 2,727 tons. This substantial contribution highlights Pakistan's sustained efforts to provide vital support to Palestine amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.
