Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf paid an official visit to Romania and held a joint meeting with the Chief of Defence Staff of Romania and the Chief of the Romanian Navy.They discussed issues related to regional maritime security and stability, bilateral military cooperation and professional matters of mutual interest.Besides, Admiral Naveed Ashraf also delivered a lecture on the "Joint Maritime Defence" at the National Defense University of Romania.Expressing his views on the joint role of naval forces in resolving issues in the maritime domain, he stressed the need for collective efforts by the naval forces to enforce law at the sea.The recent visit of the Naval Chief to Romania will further promote and expand relations between the two countries in general and naval forces in particular.Source: Radio Pakistan
