Islamabad: A nationwide anti-polio campaign of varied duration will commence from Monday. During the campaign, 45.4 million children under the age of five years will be administered polio vaccine drops.
According to Radio Pakistan, the government has undertaken this initiative to ensure the health and safety of children across the country. The campaign aims to eradicate polio by reaching out to every household and ensuring that no child is left unvaccinated.
Health officials have mobilized teams across different regions to facilitate the smooth execution of the drive. The authorities have emphasized the importance of parental cooperation to achieve the desired coverage and protect children from the risk of polio.
