Islamabad: A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today and presented the party's proposals regarding the upcoming Federal Budget.
According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation was led by Federal Minister for Education and MQM Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and included Members of the National Assembly Farooq Sattar, Syed Amin-ul-Haque, and Muhammad Jawed Hanif Khan. The discussions focused on public welfare and development projects currently underway in Sindh and Karachi under the Federal Government's initiatives.
The meeting further addressed the overall political situation in the country. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of MQM as a coalition partner, acknowledging their consistent support for initiatives targeting public welfare. He instructed the relevant authorities to evaluate MQM's budget proposals and develop a feasible plan for consideration.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah.
