Minister Emphasizes Timely Completion of Highway Projects

Islamabad:Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has emphasized that all ongoing highway projects must adhere to their stipulated timeframes.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khan highlighted the importance of adhering to international standards in the construction of the Guru Nanak Expressway during a meeting of the National Highway Authority. He noted that this project holds special religious, historical, and spiritual significance for the Sikh community and encouraged investment from Sikhs residing in the UK, Canada, and the US.

Khan also discussed the development of the 123-kilometer-long Mansehra-Naran highway as a model project. This proposed three-lane motorway aims to enhance tourism, trade, and connectivity with China.

Furthermore, he directed the National Highway Authority to ensure the completion of the Multan-Muzaffargarh-Mianwali highway within the next two months.
