Met Office Predicts Hot, Humid Weather Across Country

Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain accompanied by wind and thundershowers is anticipated in specific regions including North-East/South Punjab, North-East Balochistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities are as follows: Islamabad at twenty-six degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-eight, Karachi at thirty, Peshawar at twenty-seven, Quetta at twenty-four, Gilgit at sixteen, Murree at fourteen, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-two degrees centigrade.

In the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain and wind with thundershowers are expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. The morning temperatures recorded in these areas are: Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula at eighteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-seven, Leh at nine, and Shopian at nineteen degrees centigrade.
