Met Office Predicts Dry Weather Expected Over Most Parts


Islamabad: Dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, cold in hilly areas is likely to prevail during morning and night hours. Districts of Punjab are likely to remain under the influence of smog due to the persistent dry weather and atmospheric pollution. Public is advised to take precautionary measures.



According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning includes Islamabad at twelve degrees centigrade, Lahore at nineteen, Karachi at twenty-two, Peshawar at seventeen, Quetta at six, Gilgit at three, Murree at nine, and Muzaffarabad at ten degrees centigrade.



The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts cold and dry weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while dry weather is expected in Jammu. The temperature recorded this morning was six degrees centigrade in Srinagar and Anantnag, fourteen in Jammu, minus-three in Leh, and five degrees centigrade in Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula.
