Islamabad: Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has highlighted the significant investment opportunities available in Pakistan's maritime sector, particularly in ports, logistics, and blue economy initiatives. He shared these insights during an online meeting with Mansour Bin Mohammed Al Saud, Chairman of the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council, and other participants.According to Radio Pakistan, the minister emphasized the potential for bilateral collaboration that aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and Pakistan's development priorities. The discussion centered around investment prospects at major ports, including Karachi Port, Port Qasim, and Gwadar Port.In a bid to attract Saudi investment, the minister extended an invitation for the expansion of the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) fleet. Additionally, he proposed the establishment of an Aqua Research and Technology Park, covering approximately 100 acres, at the Korangi Fish Harbour Authority.
