Lahore: Renowned writer Sofia Baidar has emphasized the significance of literary festivals like the Faiz Festival in shaping a constructive society. Speaking to Radio Pakistan's correspondent, Qasim Bukhari, during the Faiz Festival, she said that such events serve as a tribute to the literary legacy of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, who instilled values of integrity in society.According to Radio Pakistan, she underscored the transformative impact of literary festivals, stating that they help channel societal negativity into positivity. Sofia Baidar stressed that the youth are the nation's most valuable asset and that it is crucial to pass on knowledge and artistic expression to them through such platforms.
