Peshawar:A meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi in Peshawar reviewed the inquiry report into the Dir Colony school incident.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Governor was briefed on the causes of the incident, statements of the relevant officials, departmental responsibilities, and the findings and recommendations of the inquiry committee.

The inquiry report identified the school owner as responsible for using substandard materials in the construction of the school building. It also highlighted negligence on the part of the relevant departments.

The Governor directed that strict action be taken against those responsible for the Dir Colony school incident.
