KP Fact Check Refutes Misleading Video on Security Forces in Zakha Khel

Accra:Zakha Khel A video circulating on social media, purportedly showing Pakistani security forces passing through a Fitna-al-Khawarij checkpoint in Zakha Khel, has been debunked as false and misleading by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Fact Check.

According to Radio Pakistan, the video in question, which has been promoted by Fitna-al-Khawarij-affiliated Afghan-based nationalist propaganda, misrepresents the situation. The individuals in the video are identified as members of the local Zakha Khel tribe, not terrorists.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Fact Check emphasized that the attire and appearance of the people in the video reflect the common local dress of the area, and it should not be misconstrued as that of Khawarij militants.

Furthermore, it was clarified that the Zakha Khel tribe is patriotic and supports the state against Fitna-al-Khawarij elements. The portrayal of local tribesmen as militants is seen as a manipulation of context and a disinformation campaign designed to create a false narrative regarding the movement of Pakistani security forces through a checkpoint allegedly controlled by Fitna-al-Khawarij.
